Never fished it but I'm wondering if there are good rock or weeds to fish on the south end, or does one have to fish travel further?

Thanks

Plenty of rocks and weeds on the south end. Alot of the public launches are pretty shallow, and the access by the casino is pretty sketchy. Alot of break ins there. If you don't mind paying a few bucks many resorts offer a safe place to park and launch. Eddy's is one of my most frequent places to launch. Plenty of decent water only a couple miles away.
