Location: Syracuse, Indiana | I am looking for something to team with a Lamiglass stick for throwing small bucktails and cranks in the spring. I like the low profile for this application. Thoughts? |

| I dont know anything at all about the saltwater revo but if your looking for low profile to handle musky work i would look at the shimano curado 300 dsv. That reel is totally awsome,i run two of them and couldnt be happier, awsome reels worth a look,i dont think you would be dissapointed. |

Location: Syracuse, Indiana | Each of my reels crank with my left hand! No reason to change. My son directed me to Revos. Thanks for the Shimano tip. |

Location: Minnesota | The Abu Revo and the Shimano Curado 300 DSV are both awesome high speed reels and will both hold their own throwing 'tails. You can actually do a pretty good job cranking in DCGs with the shimano too. The main difference is that the revo, I think, is a higher gear ratio, but other than that I thought they were both smooth and worked well.

| Does anyone know if the saltwater revos are larger than their freshwater version? The freshwater version has a line capacity of 140yds. of 12lb. line. Or are they just made with anti-corrosion parts. I checked the abu wes site but no specs. on the new revos yet. I'm hoping they are as large as the Shimano 300's. Kdawg |
