I have had a 975 for about a month now.
I love the reel but tonight I noticed that the line guide sticks to one side every couple of casts.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Clean out your worm gear and pawl. It probably has dirt in it is not allowing the pawl to completely go to the end and return back.

Had the same problem after using the reel for a day. I sent it back to Penn and had it fixed free of charge under warranty. Go to their website and print off their repair form and include your receipt. Took around 4 weeks to get it back.

Good luck.

Take out the pawl and reverse it. May work just fine.
