| This is from my departed grandpa who used to fish muskies up the Rib River, just like I do now. I found it in his tackle box after he passed and it now hangs as decoration in our family room beneath a musky replica next to an old black and white photo of 'Gramps'.
I was looking at it and noticing how really cool it is....the deerhair (I'm assuming that's what it is) was tied so 1/2 sticks out on either side of the wrap making a furry looking creature-thingy. I can see whoever tied it really pulled the wraps snug to make the hair flair out like that...anyhow...Very cool...I may have to try that out in my workshop.
Anyhow...I was wondering if anyone knows who manufactured it and aprox. what year.
Any insight would be great...
Thanks,

| I THINK IT IS A MUSKRAT. I BELIEVE WORTH BAIT CO. IN STEVENS POINT MAY HAVE MADE THEM ALONG WITH OTHER COMPANIES. |

| DBL A, I think you are right. Worth or Weber tackle. Mine has a black plastic worm for a tail. |

| Looks a lot like the large Watsons Wrat, too. Spinning hair is fun, I tie a ton of mice every year for a brown trout trip. Same principal as that. |
