My 150 opti buzzer goes off around 1000 rpm (trolling).
I don't have a psi, or temp gauge (its a solid beep i beleave its a temp alarm).
I might have 80 to 100 hour on it. Water coming out the pee hole ok.
Any thoughts on this please??

The motor is an 06

Have you felt the temp, by hand, of the water coming out of the coolant passage, ie, pee hole? Hot to the touch? Or normal operating warmth? Maybe it's a thermostat sticking and not opening all the way? Might have picked up some small gunk, ie rocks, from running shallow once that's now lodged in the thermostat housing preventing the thermostat from opening/closing all of the way?

I'll bet the impellor needs replacing. Mine(135 Opti) would alarm at lower RPM's, but at partial to WOT, it would be fine. Replaced the impellor, and all was fine.

Did you check your oil level? You get the same alarm beep as when you're over-heating.

Your problem sounds exactly like the one we just had with our 2003 135 Opti, and as Shep said the impellor needed replacing and now all is better.
