Anyone hear of any reports regarding the Ottawa? Planning to head up tomorrow and stay for the week. Any info would be appreciated.

A friend of mine was there last week while I was laboring on Vermillion. I dont have the details yet but for the two of them in three days they boated 5 with the largest a 55". I'll try to get you more. ....... details coming in slowly. 2 mid 30", 2 low 40" and the 55". All trolling. None lost while trolling. 2 lost while casting. Heavy wind during their trip. I'll post more if not too distant.

Depends on what stretch of the Ottawa you are going to be on.

I fish the stretch between Ottawa and east to Wendover.

This is a tough but good stretch of river for big fish.

I was rewarded with a dandy fish this year and I usually bag at least one big fish a year.

I don't fish for muskie until Bass season is over but I see a ton of them fishing bass.

Here is a shot of the fish I bagged this year.
