I am heading to Kinkaid this weekend. However, I just found out that there is a bass tourney from Thurs - Sat [:(] .

Historically, how has bass tourneys affected the muskie fishing...trying to imagine fighting 70 bass boats for quality muskie real estate.

I was out today and didn't see any tourney going on. I haven't even heard about it. Fishing was a little tough the last couple of days from the cold front, but should be warm this weekend. My client did atleast catch one fish today, a 35 incher on an 8" Jake.

After fishing the lake hard for two days, no good word to report. Saturday, fought 108 bass boats in a tourney (only one boat made the 6 fish limit...bass fishing tough as well).

Water clarity very poor ( a few inches to a couple of feet). Temps ranged from high 40's to high 50's throughout the day in various parts of the lake.
