Your saying catching a 9lb. walleye on a top water bait is disappointing? That's a trophy fish no matter where you are. Let alone to catch it on a top water bait.

Walleyes are dumb....

3 pounders, 7 pounders, 10 pounders...

They are walleye, which are dumb no matter how you catch 'em.

I think it's sad that some folks can't appreciate a nice specimin, regardless of species. We all know Muskie is Queen, but her majesty's minions and subjects deserve recognition too.

Bass, walleye, crappie, bluegill, pike, perch, etc... all dumb, no matter what size or how many.

My mistake; I thought they were smart because they live in schools. Gotta rethink this fishing stuff.

I'd take a 9 lb walleye any day of the week, no matter how it was caught or what I was fishing for at the time. A fish like that is fun, no matter the species.

I'll take bass, walleye, crappie, bluegill, pike, perch and any other forms or species of fish as well.

I love being a multi-species fisherman. It mixes things up. It all has it's time and place. I'm not so narrow minded or closed minded to think other species are dumb or worthless. It's unfortunate that there are those that do though.

Took my 2 year-old daughter fishing for bluegills for the first time in her life this past weekend and it was the greatest thing in the world to see her clapping her hands and laughing and cheering and having such a great time. It sure surpassed my experience of my first muskie and my personal best muskie...by a long shot....

Can't wait to take her fishing for those other dumb fish again!

Life's too short to be so narrow and closed minded.
