I was on Shamineau a few weeks ago and lost a brand new rod and reel. Somehow I snagged it while casting and flung it over my head into about 10 feet of water. If anyone happens to recover one let me know. I'll give you the details about it and where I lost it for proof. Thanks.

Ouch,
However I feel your pain and If it makes you feel any better I've got rods resting at the bottom of many lakes,, mmmm 2 or 3 in Delavan, 1 in Evergreen, at least 3 in Kinkaid,,,mmm Pewaukee claimed at least 1 & I know there are others but,,, I try and forget about em.

When you fish a lot your gonna break stuff, loss stuff, get stuff stolen, and wear stuff out, I guess that's just the way it is!

On the up side we've probably snagged up $20x$ that in rods, baits, anchors ect.
Sorry to hear of you loss.
