Bucktails I finally got a musky on one.Been throwning Mepps over High grass in 6 to 12 foot of water.Cranks just can't make it though this stuff with out rip it up.IS it better to burn the bucktail so it just under the surface or do want to tickle the weed top.Mine hit just after I got it up and going.Fishing bucktails are new to me,been crankbait chucker since I got into this sport. Is this a good spot fortop water. Thanks for help.Dennis Blume[8)]

Yes, you can burn bucktails over those weed tops. Especially if the fish are active. If you have very high skys or cold front conditions you may want to "tickle" the tops as you said or work the deep edges. Also a topwater will work too. Again, it will matter on where the fish are in the water column and how active they may be.[8)]
If you notice...all presentations CAN work..so do everything.
