Posts: 32955 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Here's all the details, looking very much forward to this coming Saturday's event. The KWM is a great tournament run by very good people for a very good cause. In answer to the question, I lost a Kevin a number of years back to an unfortunate gun accident. Kevin was Keith's twin, and they were inseparable, hunting, fishing, and playing together as kids. When Kevin passed away, Barry Thiel, owner of Lakeview Inn changed the name of the Lakeview Inn Muskie Tournament to the Kevin Worrall Memorial. All funds raised through the raffle go to the Ronald McDonald House Charities for the Marshfield House and other houses in need, to help parents stay with their very sick children as they are treated in hospital. Been there and done that one, the Ronald McDonald House was a HUGE plus for my family. The Gerrits have shown unprecedented support for the event. The KWM is bigger, better, and has more prizes, award cash, and just plain good times to offer than ever before. MuskieFIRST will be providing full coverage of the event including video, images, and much more. Posts: 512 Location: Appleton | I fished this last year. Hopefully the weather will be better than last. Major cold front came in with a bunch of rain on Friday. Won't be there this time but was a very well run tournament. Maybe it will work out for me in 08. Best of luck to all involved. Lots of prizes to us guys that don't catch fish.

| i've been to this the past 2 years, but i didn't get the flyer in the mail to plan for it so i won't be able to make it this year, which is a bummer because this tournament is a great time and supports a great cause. if you've got this Saturday free to spend in the northwoods, call them up and i'm sure they can still get you in: Gerrits' Lakeview: (715) 487-5290 | |||

Posts: 714 Location: Rhinelander, WI | Hey guys, this is a great event! Not a lot of money but a good, not overly competitive day on the water. I have fished this event for over 10 years now, the last 6 or 7 with my dad. I was in Lakeview Friday for thier AWESOME fish fry (I believe the best in the Rhinelander Area) and talked to Gary. There are still plenty of spots open for this tourney, and they are STILL ACCEPTING applications and I believe will right up to start time. I believe Price of Gas and tourney saturation has contributed to lower numbers in all the tourneys, I know the Hodag Musky Challenge, scheduled for the weekend of September 22, still has spots also. If there is any way you can make it come up for a fun day on the water. Lakeview Inn supported the Pelican Lake 50” size limit from the beginning. Lets show them our gratitude, and raise some money for a great cause. If you need lodging check the following list. http://www.pelicanlakewi.org/lodging.html Christian’s Campground on that list also supported the 50” size limit, and they are located very close to Lakeview, and don’t forget to buy your gas and beer at the Musky Mart on Hwy 45. Nail A Pig! Mike.
