Posts: 193 Location: Mayer, MN | By the way they are Formula X products, probably making room for the non formula x suckers. I bought two anyway, hope to have them eaten this weekend.

Posts: 2112 Location: The Sportsman, home, or out on the water | If I am mistaken, please excuse me (Andy). I believe that Andy said Formula X was the worst descision he ever made, when I spoke to him. Andy went back to Plastiscol for a good reason. His Plastiscol creations are another tool in a successfull fisherman's box.

| I still can't figure out why he and or anyone else doesn't like the Formula X plastics. I have caught 5 fish to 46.5" on one Curly Sue and the thing is spotless. Try doing that with a bulldawg and not ending up with a shredded mess. Maybe just maybe he thinks it's the worst decision since you won't need to buy 5 new ones every year to replace the shredded ones. I have to agree with Armpit on this one. As for them melting together with other soft plastics seperate the two if you have to throw lures on the boat floor throw them in a diffrent location it isn't that hard. | |||

Posts: 193 Location: Mayer, MN | From reading the threads previously it came down to melting plastics (other lures, tackle boxes, etc.) and not having the ability to mold various colors together. Hence the formula x lures are painted and the paint quality and durability came into question. I am guessing for many the durability and action of the formula x may outweigh the gains from plastisol (sp?). Mine must be defective because I didn't see a fish on Sunday. Scott did you buy them all?

Posts: 451 Location: Waconia, MN | No, I only have the BIG ones, i have a few of the 13" Suzy Suckers. I haven't used them yet, cuz my Mag Dawg, and Pounders always seem to produce. Hit me up some time Jason, lets hit the water. Hey,and how is the little one doing?

| Here are three of the 5 fish caught on the same Formula X Curly Sue. The bait is still in great shape and never gets fouled cast after cast. Hands down the best soft plastic I have ever thrown. Posts: 654 Location: MPLS, MN | My Formula X version melted all over and was ruined and stained some other baits. Be safe and keep them cool they melt much worse than any other plastic i've used. Shark Attack replaced my melted lure though {great service}. They are great lures. | ||
