I've always wondered what you guys charge to custom paint a bait. A simple paint job like black body and orange belly, or a more intensive life like job. If you do not want to publicly display your charge you can leave a PM.

I do not really charge extra for simple custom color combinations, if it gets a little elaborate I might add a little (maybe a buck or two). It just takes a little extra time as I usually do enough baits to make it worth while to spin my drying rack for clear coating. I do not do the lifelike ones like some of the artists here, and they are artists that happen to build muskie baits.

For that type of paint job do it yourself. Hobby shop paint will cost you a lot less than shipping baits around and paying for a painter.

those are standards. Forus the only up-charge would be a 12 inch bait opposed to a 5 inch bait.. that color could be spray bombed easily.
