Posts: 28 Location: mankato, mn | I know we've all seen pictures of those golden walleye, but how about a musky? This lake must have a massive goldfish foragebase. haha. Attachments ---------------- 38-inch-musky-GOLDFISH-web.jpg (216KB - 612 downloads)

Golden Muskie, your fins are so red With all of my money, baits to you I fed. You missed the net but I averted disaster Just by reeling faster & faster.....m

Posts: 42 Location: Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin | We saw one a few years back up in Canada that we nicknamed "goldy". She wasn't quite that gold though, probably between that & a normal lunge'. We had her up to the boat a few different times, she was approx 50". Sad news the next spring though, she was found floating dead, apparently old age or stressed from spawning?

Doesn't clear have a fairly high iron content, and therefore fish tend to get a little different color? I remember a picture of some fish a while back that had that same gold tint. I could have sworn it Clear Lake , IA. At any rate, nice fish, and certainly nice temps. This crap we are in now....uygh

Posts: 32955 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Why would I do that, Slats, the guy called the hat a big sled like object. You corrected him, which is cool. Nice fish by the way, really pretty. I had one going on Wabigoon that was REALLY gold colored like that one, and it was a spot, too. Would have really liked to catch her, but she was very adept at tossing a Top Raider.
