List some things you would like us to shoot with our camera and we will get it done this summer.

If you have not checked out the Multi media section of the site, go to the front page and you will see video interviews with Rob Manthei, Chad Cain and Bruce Schumway.

I think seeing lures in the water and their action would be good. Also for those who are unsure of certain techniques like walk the dog or figure 8's.
Handling a muskie after being netted would be good too.

Did'ja ever see the Bill Dance clips where he...

bumps his boat against a tree with a low-hanging hornets nest and he has to jump out of his boat into the water to escape the raging little beasts?
falls off the pier?
falls out of his boat?
falls into his open tackle box and comes up wth an arm full of crank baits?
falls down the river bank and breaks his rod? He tries to get out, slips and falls in again?
smacks his head on a low roof and then falls off the dock?
smacks his shin on his trailer hitch?
drives his atv into the lake?

you get the idea. A MF bloopers clip at the end of each season.

I agree with Rod.....I think a movie with emphasis on proper catch and release procedures would be very good. Maybe include necessary tools. I have seen many people who don't handle fish very well. It takes experience to learn how to handle fish and I think a video would help shorten the learning curve for new musky fishermen. Possibly even teach a few old dogs a thing or two. I started building a page of cpr tools, but it is far from complete. Check it out at:

A clip on properly holding a musky would be good as well. Where to put your hands. How to do a gill plate grab so you don't get cut by the rackers. Where to put your thumb.

YESSSS!!!!!!! I definitely agree that handling techniques should be in there. Uncertainty breeds tentativeness, and tentativeness breeds more uncertainty, and next thing you know, you have fish and people getting hurt.

This is probably for next year, but how about the seminars that are given by the Pros at the musky shoes. I'd like to see Bucher, Maina, Saric and many others seminars that we aren't able to go to.

MuskieFIRST will be developing several 'on the water' segments that will cover most of what has been requested. There will be much more, too!

The OutdoorsFIRST Media Group will also be covering the Walleye world this year, so look for some top quality clips on WalleyeFIRST.

We already have one seminar to edit, and will add many more with the permission of the show and speaker next season.[:)]

I would like to see a segment on bait modification, and or making a homemade leader, bucktail or crankbaits.

Underwater footage of SpongeBob checking a Fuzzy Duzzit? (Just kidding, bud [] )

Include tips for the netman on the catch & release segment. Also do a very basic segment, maybe from a fisheries biologist, on muskies, C&R, and conserving the resource... something intro that would be useful to folks outside the sport.

Maybe segments from boat reps on one or two of their hot models. It'd be nice to see features this way, although I like the community aspects of interviewing the pros and not hawking products. However, you might raise some cash this way.

Along the same lines, it'd be cool to see on-site segments of some popular resorts.

I second the lure demos and modifications. Musky anglers like stuff.

Unusual stories from the guide pros. It'd be fun to see them tell some of their best memories in video. What's better than a big fish story?

Hey Worrall how about MuskieFIRST getting one of those satalites that can read licence plates from outer space.

We could have viewers call in there GPS cordanates and we all can watch them fish on Live media on site.

Watching Sponge fish on a Saturday morning would be a blast.
