| I read about the old Bulldogs and the new bulldogs and the sevenstrand bulldogs; my question is; What is the difference and how do you tell them apart? Are the old better than the new or are the new better.

| I can't believe nobody knows the difference, or at least an opinion.

Location: Watertown, MN | Sevenstrad do not have the solid wire threw the body, you do not have to tune the body when you get a dawg ball. I think the seven strands run a little deeper and the tails were thinner and seemed to have more action.

Location: S.E. Wisconsin | Try a search there was a thread a while back that covered everything, including smell and taste As far as which ones where better? Im not sure yet, I have heard of both getting bit off and trashed, I own like 4 of each and have yet to have any issues, like all baits they all have there own personality and need to be tuned or modified to run how you want....the old ones are getting harder to come by now days.... |

Location: IN | The seven strand allows more flex in the body when your ripping or pulling the bait. IMO it not only gives better action, but a little better vibration as well. The downside is the crimps. They can and do fail without warning.
