Hi Steve,
I wish I would have had more time to talk to you on Saturday.
It was good to see you again and I wanted to say thanks, for your presentation on web building.
The old guys at MI, are a little
scared of all that technology.

See ya on the water! [:p]

Guideman,
Yes, I think you are somewhat right there, but some of the Muskies Inc Members see the potential, and will eventually move the entire project forward.

The idea that information the club generates has to STAY within the club, and one must buy a membership amd pay the dues to have access to same, seems to go directly against the grain of the original credo. Basically, the credo has been altered off the record to add "Muskies Inc will do all we said we will do for you, Mr Muskie Angler, but you must be a member".

The concept widely held there is that the value of the information the International holds is the 'draw' for new members, and if the information was to be made available to the public, then the 'value' of a membership drops somehow. That is ridiculous!

There are dozens of models I can point to, including Ducks Unlimited, Walleyes for Tomorrow, and more where critical information and the education of the general public is DRIVEN by the membership, and offered with NO strings attached for the betterment of the sport.[]
