| Is this lake connected to the Rhinelander Flowage in any way & is it possible to get to Boom and or Thunder Lake without pulling the boat out?
Thanks in advance

Location: Rhinelander | Not for sure, but it is part of the Boom Lake system and should be navigable, probably many stumps to watch for |

Location: Tomahawk, Wisconsin | Hey Mike you can go anywhere from Boom to the Flowage to the dark water that is known as lake creek or Thunder but there are alot of wood hazards once you go under the bridge and fish lake Creek, nice fish there, be aware o the wood!!! Launch right in town at Hodag Park nice facility central location, 2 dollar fee. |

| Thanks for the response! I'm looking at a cabin that is on Lake Creek (Nighthawk Ln) & will go check it out next Saturday. I wanted to make sure I had access to Boom as I know that is a fine muskie fishery.... Funny how impotrtant a fish is when making big decisions!
I plan to bring my boat to see how bad the stumps look. I would hope there is a defined channel that you can navigate once you know the area. |

| Boat traffic has been hideous on the Flowage this summer. I'd fish it before 10 am, and try the evening bite. Suspended fish in Boom Lake have been active until we got the snot knocked out of us last night with almost two inches of rain and a lot of lightning. |
