Location: Mauston, Wisconsin | My 15 year old nephew went with us this year. Not muskies but still pretty respectable fish.
Now he's known as "Jackfish" Dorn. He caught both fish on my new KT Proffessional Edge 9' rods. Thanks Keith for the great stick's (The Twins).
Twins on the twins! It's all about having fun. He won't forget his first trip to Canada w/ Uncle Al & his dad. The first fish came at the start of the trip ->30 minutes into fishing last Sat, and his dad was the netman for that one. The second we were by ourselves.
Funny part about the second fish. He'd just released a 27" fish about 5 minutes before. As I was getting the net, I asked him how big the fish was, he said about the same as the last one. Then the water exploded and he said "no, no! It's as big as my first one!!!" He definitely learned how to fight fish on this trip.
I was hoping to put his first muskie into the boat on Crow, but that was cut short by motor problems.
Have fun!
Al

Location: Athens, Ohio | Al, those are surely respectable looking pike; at that age I'm guessing size matters as much as species. Glad you had a great time. m |
