My brakes are not working on my trailer.

It is an 05 tandem axel.

Fluid level is fine.

I recall two summers ago a problem backing the trailer into the landings.

I suspect my reverse light wire has been fouled for 1 and 1/2 seasons.

I had the truck end re-wired today, so there should be no problem there.

Still...I disconnected the electric and WAS able to BACK UP A HILL.

Should not be able to do that.

Anyone have thoughts on what the problem might be?

Shot brake pads??

Second question:
Which are the reverse lights? I'm guessing the small round ones on the furthest to the side and lowest on the fiberglass. I obviously have seal problems as some of my lights are 1/2 filled with water....still under warrenty...going to take it in....

Other Rangertrail owners with this problem of bad seals?

Does the actuator slide back in the coupler? Have you pulled out the emergency cable? Is the eletric lockout stuck? Was the fluid low and got air in the lines?
