Posts: 30 Location: Wisconsin | Has anyone ever tried the weedless Neversnag hooks? They are the double hooks with the springs for weedguards. I'm looking for something to help keep the weeds at bay while still being able to penetrate them. If someone has any other weedless ideas let me know. HODAG

Posts: 43 | Used a set of three on a suick in canada last year. worked very well in the weeds and hooking the northerns was no problem. Like the owner says the spring actually helps keep the hooks from coming out of the fishys mouth. Also caught walleye on it, no musky though. Have also used them for a trailer on weedless single hook spinnerbaits, thinking better hookups. Have them on a couple depth raiders to try this year. I think he has a larger size out this year also. Rollies sells them, muskyhunter advertises them, he has a web page and is from Coleman, WI. A dude overseas makes a nice weedless treble, not as strong as neversnaggs but works very well. I'll see if I have a number or web page.

Posts: 185 Location: Pound, WI | Neversnag's are great. I'll be coming up to Rhinelander for the outing and I could get some and bring them if I can get ahold of the owner. Brian

Posts: 376 Location: Lake Vermilion Tower, MN | The owners name is Ted Rydell. He has a great product, I have been on his prostaff for a couple years now. His hooks used to be on the "Ducktail lures, "Weed worrior" jerk bait. Jim has gone to his own weedless style hook this year. The website address is www.neversnag.com He has also come out with a 6/0 owner hook, available for larger baits. I use these on a lot of baits that I use in the weeds. They work great in heavy cover and they will work on any bait. They work fantastic on spoons and on in-line spinners to. "Ace" ![]()
