Location: Johnsonville, Wisconsin | I have a MG 109 Tour electric troller that is WAY too free. On anything above 3/4 power it is very hard to control - my foot has to be real solid on the pedal and even then it overswings when turning and needs constant attention. I also can't run the motor on constant with my foot off at any speed without it spinning off course. I can find no way to increase the drag on the foot control and there's nothing in the manual or on their website. Any body have this same problem and found a solution?

Location: Johnsonville, Wisconsin | Well, looks like it's just a design flaw. I'm going to study this thing and if I come up with a fix I'll post it.

Location: Johnsonville, Wisconsin | I called MG and was told that "yep, they do that". I have an idea for a simple part to add some tension on the foot control assy. I'll make it tomorrow but won't get some real world testing till next week. I'll keep posting the results.
