Location: ne53 | Any body know the availability of the ultra low sulfur diesel in Canada. Fords new diesel engine requires ultra low sulfur diesel and I just want to make sure that it is readily available across Canada. Thanks for any input!!!!

| diesel is diesel. its now 93 cents a litre in southern ontario.. guys here, as myself have no problems with the fuels |

Location: Stevens Point, Wi. | Not true. The new diesels require ULTRA low sulfur to prevent premature clogging of the after treatment devices in the exhaust. Replacement costs are $1000 and up. The engine will run fine on any other fuel but your pocket will take an early hit on a major expense. |

The newest PSD Diesels Feature a self scrubbing particulate collector and would be fouled by incorrect fuel.
I do not know what Canada has in mind for ULSD fuel. I however have an older PSD and am concerned about ULSD in my 525 motor. I'm sure an additive will be available sooner or later. I hope so I purchased this truck to last a long time and it's paid off so I intend to drive a few years for free.
