I recently noticed that I have lost some power on my trolling motor. I was wondering if it has to do with the double battery hook ups. I have a charger and trolling motor on the double batteries. How do you hook up the various leads between the two batteries. I also have the larger lead that connects both of the batteries too each other. What is the standard way of connecting the batteries?

Thanks BG

Before you start messing with your connections, I recommend you:
- check the fluid level in each battery cell,
- clean all the battery contacts,
- check the charge in each cell with a hydrometer.

You might find the problem is nothing more than a low cell or loose connection. m
