I HAVE A QUESTON .ON SOME WOOD BAITS LIKE A SUICK OR OTHER BAITS THEY DONT HAVE A HIGH GLOSS TOP COAT ON THEM .I HAVE A COUPLE OLD TAILY WACKERS THAT ARE BANGED UP LOOKS LIKE THEY WERE PAINTED RIGHT ON THE WOOD WITH OUT ANY PRIMER UNDER THE PAINT.I USE ACRYLIC PAINT AND CRYSTAL SHEEN AND A PRIMER UNDER ALL THAT.BUT WHEN I GET A NICK IN THE FINISH OR WATER PENITATES THE LURE IT PEELS OFF.LIKE WITH MY OLD TAILY WACKERS THERE SCATCHED UP BUT THE PAINT WASNT PEELED OFF WHATS UP WITH THAT
