Location: North-Central WI | Musky season has been open since Memorial weekend and the fishing has been good despite the up and down weather. Numbers of fish are being caught and released on smaller bucktail-style offerings such as Mini Buchertails, Musky Things, and Mepps Musky Killers. The warmer weather as of late has also seen the surface bait bite get going. Try working a Dancin’ Raider or Topraider around submerged weeds or wood for some exciting action. Some very large muskies have been spotted and hopefully will find their way soon into the bottom of our Frabill nets prior to being released! In addition, some very nice bonus pike have been caught and released in the past week on area water. We boated several pike in the 30” range last week and a beautiful 42” sow was released by a local angler on area water as well.
Tight lines,
Joel DeBoer

Location: Stevens Point, WI | Fished Galecke area and up to the spillway area Saturday afternoon from 1200-1700 did not see a single fish, managed a couple of smallies on the new Mepps Musky Killer Shad tail. Nice bait should put some fish in the boat this year.
