Posts: 17 Location: PGH PA | So I have been picking up different lures here and there and been consistently, and methodically washing them on the weekends. Every time I walk into a shop someone tries to talk me into the newest and best, must have, amazing lure.... So other then the basic stuff I own, which is very little right now, what else would you recommend. Just startin' out... I have Bulldawgs, Suicks, Grinders, some big azz in-lines, some xl rapala cranks, megabait C, and some misc other large jerkbaits. What is missing... that really should be in my box. M

Crankbaits Jakes / Grannies / Believers / Depth Raiders They work all year, can be casted and trolled, worked shallow or deep. Must have - Perch Granny or Jake and one Big Believer I like silver

Posts: 785 | My most productive baits so far this season has been Rad Dog spinnerbaits and Legend Outcast crankbait. Just ordered some Rumblers (surface lure), I have had the toughest time finding them, everyone who goes to canada must of bought one already becouse everyone was out of stock and there brand new. By the time I start using them the fish will of already been educated on them already. Oh well, topraiders, stompers, pacemakers, and Lee Lures are all good.

Posts: 1764 Location: Ogden, Ut | Based on my experiences the last 2 weeks I'd certainly call a Baby Wabull a 'must have'. Lots of activity on this lure. S.

Posts: 734 Location: Watertown, MN | B420 No majical Jackpot on the opener. It will smoke the fish. Dawgs, dawgs, I should maybe cranks the stereo with "Who let the Dawgs out!", they are barking loud in the basement. Then we will probably start throwing some new baits into the mix, like some 6" Squirlly Phantoms, Cowgirls, and kickin minnows. Troyz

Posts: 382 | The ol Jackpots are strictly Canada baits Troy! I am going small, small, small, after getting a 43-44" fish this past weekend on a #11 rapala trolling for warreyes. Jonesi, we will hook it up for sure this summer! On serious note, Musky Tackle Online and Aaron are great to deal with, always has the "hot" stuff and free shipping on orders over $50, how can you go wrong?
