Picked one up for like 5 bucks at Gander...anyone ever use/hear anything about them? Looks like a Bucher Swimmin Joe but has a thumper tail and no lip.

I've got a junior that looks really pretty. Mine swims just under the surface and will be thrown quite a bit this year.

I have several. They look great in the water but I havnt had any takers yet. I heard rumers that these will no longer be made so if you like them you may want to stock up.

1 fish and the baits history. The hook construction and the soft plastic will separate from each other.

If you like that lure you should buy them up. Gander bought the last of them as a close out from megabait. Megabait is no longer in business. Theyare like the joes but no lip and they have a paddle tail. The lure tends to surface rather than stay below the water line like the joe does. They do have great action.

Very cool bait and will catch fish for sure. If you like what you see in the water, go back and buy a Swimmin' Joe. Great bait last season but couldn't keep the 25-28" walleyes off of them! Durable and a "go-to" night bait. Shhhh. LOL. Steve

Pointer; which Gander has these for sale? I know Wausau did last summer and I picked a 10" one up for $10, thinking I might as well try it. Loved the action; however, person who posted above mentioning they'll fall apart must have had the same experience as me. Won't lose the fish, but you may lose the rubber body. I found some smaller ones from a guy on eBay, but none to be found around here in stores or the Eau Claire Gander.
If you could let me know which Gander you got them at and if they have the big ones, that would be great.
Thanks, Jake Bucki
