Just started getting ESOX Maniac ready for the 2007 season & the new Humminbird 997. So I was checking out the bildge to see what was up down there. Well I discover two transducers - both loose! Now I know why the Eagle was losing bottom. They were both installed with a soft rubbery adhesive. I think the other transducer is the bottom alarm unit.

Now the task begins- clean out the bilge- prepare the mounting surface(s), reinstall both old transducers and the new one for the Humminbird. Any advice on epoxy, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

Al

A two part 5 minute epoxy will do the job!
