Posts: 507 | The full results are listed at http://www.muskyhunter.com/forums/generalforum/10536.html (Day 1) and http://www.muskyhunter.com/forums/generalforum/10541.html (Day 2), and Jim Saric had this to say about Days One and Two: Day One: Tough bite today, 120 teams for the event and so far 111 of them are tied for 10th Place. 10 fish were caught today with one team doubling up. The awards presentation starts tomorrow at 3pm at the VFW in Antioch, IL on North Av, feel free to stop by, it's a fun time plus Rollie & Helen's Musky Shop has a store setup there. Day 1 standings are listed below with a photo of today's Big Fish: 1st Place Phil Gutmann & Ron Haynes – 35¼ & 35¼ 2nd Place John Fisler & Dennis Sweeney - 46 3rd Place Chris & Eric Burseth - 43½ 4th Place Dewey Stewart & Forest Kay - 41½ 5th Place Rob VanGorder & Randy Parker - 38¼ 6th Place Tom Ustaszewski & George Benda - 37¾ 7th Place Spencer Berman & Joe Perry - 30¾ 8th Place Dale Drew & Bob Taylor - 30¼ 9th Place Ben Modica & Tim Wallies - 30 Day Two: Day 2 resulted in 8 muskies boated for a total of 18 for the event. Small baits were the key, and the muskies were located in 2-4 feet of water. Tim will post the complete results and further details tomorrow. (note to self: call Ranger to cancel order for hat, jacket, pants, etc.) Next thing you're going to tell me is that the weather has something to do with it too, or water temperatures or some silly nonsense about spawning or moon charts or barometric pressure right?  | ||
