As The Sportsman of Appleton's Newest employee, I am proud to announce that Jason Long's Long Tale Tackle products are now available here at the store! Stop in and see Pete, Kevin, myself, and the rest of the gang. Best musky selection north of Hwy 10 and south of Hwy 8!

Thanks guys!

The real congratulations needs to go out to my wife, Jodi. She runs the "business" and ties all the hair. That's why they all look so pretty and our customer service is top notch! I just bend the wire, put the hardware on, and field test of course.

Pete has done a great job with The Sportsman here in Appleton. Its great to finally have a full blown musky shop right at home.... and its really cool to be able to sell some lures there as well.

Jason I'll stop into the Sportsmen when I am up there this summer and pick up a few. Spinner baits are always good here in the south and I would like to try them on the waters I fish up there also. Is there a model you might recommend for fishing around timber and stumps in shallow water? Talking to a few people who have used them, they say they are really high quality. I also want to give a shout out to the Sportsmen. The gentlemen there did a great job setting me up with new rods, last summer, after UPS broke all of mine when I shipped them up. Chris

Jason and Jodi's baits are high quality stuff (BigMo loves the heck out of their stuff). I felt at a loss when Jodi learned how to tie, because Jason used to buy bucktail tied on coils from me (sniff). LOL.
The fact that The Sportsman has real musky crazy staffers is what sets the store apart from other stores that have folks just getting a paycheck. There was a wealth of musky knowledge there way before I started, and am honored to work for, and with a great group of guys!
