When I am trolling I prefer jointed baits but when I am casting I prefer straight baits. I have a pretty good collection of jointed trolling baits but know I am second guessing myself and wondering if I shoud add some straight ones to my ever growing collection. Especially my Depth Raiders, everyone I have is jointed.
Whats is your opinion?

Personally I seem to have better luck on the straight baits in the Spring and during a cold front. I agree with you on trolling jointed baits more I do the same thing myself the rest of the time. I wouldnt overlook Triple D's and Grandmas in the fall however.
