| Being bored all winter these are two baits that I've come up with. There's others I've made, but these are probably the two I like best. Any comments/tips would be appreciated.
Spinnerbait-2oz. head,11" silicon skirt,#7 willow,2 7/0 single hooks,4" shad trailer
Bucktail-10",.051" wire, double #9 magnum blades, double silicon skirt, two 5/0 hooks-rear hook has shrink wrap, 1/2oz. keel weight(thanks to george from beast teaser for the keel weight)

Location: Minnesota | I would use smaller hooks myself. IMO the only reason you need big hooks like a 7/0 are when they are on a big bait and regular 5/0s and below don't extend outside of the bait. Better hook-ups too with 5/0s or below than the 7/0s IMO. Really ahve to set the hook to get that hook to the barb on a 7/0. I like em! HAve you thought of adding just a touch of flashabou or mylar in with the silicon to give them a little more flash?
Good job,

Those are awesome baits, nice job. The hooks you chose to put on their are perfect (what I would consider perfect anyway ). I see I've taught you well... well actually I really didn't teach you anything at all. lol. Keep up the awesome work, hopefully those will contribute to our matchfishing success this year ;-).
