Location: oswego, il | You will like these baits. Good side to side action and some up and down as well. Very easy to work, just use a lighter wire leader, 105 and 124lb works best. |

| I've had great success with these baits! They are very easy to work and have a very wide arching glide. Using a bit shorter leaders helps to maximize the action and minimizes effort while working the bait. Short 4 to 6 inch taps of the rod tip work best. You can also trigger strikes by making long pauses between twitches. This bait will wobble slightly as it drops rather than tailing out and sinking. If the fish are lethargic, this slower retrieve can help to trigger strikes. Letting the bait drop about three feet then ripping it hard, creates a violent zig zagging action that can draw reactionary strikes as well. All in all, squirrely gill glides are very versatile baits that are well worth the investment. |
