Don't park it under any trees... Sap is not good.
Pull out the drain plug.
Cover it, with a good cover w/ air vents.
If possible park it on the north side of the house or barn/building.
BEST:: park it indoors, or under a roof of some sort.

Location: Minneapolis, MN | If its a nice boat you may want to give it a second thought to get it indoors. The sun is evil and will age your boat very quickly. I used to keep mine outside and the damage the sun can do was evident in only two seasons. It will destroy the cover rendering it not-so waterproof in a short time too. Don't store any wood baits in the boat either. Direct sunlight under a cover can really bake the baits. I have some expensive gliders that are cracked from the heat after leaving them in the boat. |

Location: Monee, Illinois | If you do store it outside get a cover to cover the cover, you can pick up some stuff pretty cheap at Home Depot or Lowes, Keeping the sun off is key, we used to store 6 golf carts outside and until we got a little cover for them man you would see the difference in the 6 that where left outside...

| Can you put up a car port? Or a canope? If you can, that will help protect the boat, tires, and cover from sun damage. |
