Just wondering about lake conditions in your area. Was bass fishing this weekend and water temps. ran from 53 in the main lake to 61 in the shallows.
Musky should be moving in these temp. but water is running high and muddy in the rivers. I was fishing a lake that stays fairly clear under all conditions.

I haven't been around to all of them, but I'm pretty sure most if not all of the lakes in my area of WI are open. Hope to put some panfish in the livewell later this week.

Many of the smaller lakes in northwestern WI are open. The larger lakes still have a thin layer of ice on them. It will be at least a little while for all the lakes to open up, we are suppose to get a few inches of snow today with temps near or below freezing.

Lots of ice on Georgian Bay still. The coast-gaurd ice-breaker came into Severn Sound last week but it will be a couple of weeks before anyone is out yaghting.
