Rocks and spinnerbait heads don't mix. Anybody out there got a way to repair the damage? Does it need to be re-painted at all? Thanks.

doesnt seem to really matter all that much, but i use nail polish.. works pretty well, dries fast, and comes in any color you could want. i always have black in my tackle box.

Might matter to us, but I don't think the fish care too much. I have an old black with silver blades Fudally stump hawg that has had a grey head since about the second or third fish it caught. I know that bait has probably boated 15-20 muskies and god knows how many northerns. I think the beat up heads, thinned out and frayed hair, etc.. gives them character
