Here's a few new customer swimbaits I've just completed. Takes way more work than a glider but the results are worth it.

Do the tails flutter around when you bring them in? Nice

The tails help with the illusion of a real swimming fish. Very "snaky" actions.

Wow, those are awesome, Mike!! I also love the Bluegill. Looks like I need to get in touch with you for one of these badboys! By the way, great job on the spinnerbait, I can't wait to throw it.

Thanks Chuck. I'll be posting a couple of videos shortly showing the 8" Trout and the Bluegill Swimbaits in action. The Bluegills basically make a wake across the surface as they wiggle. They don't have the same underwater swimming actions as the Trout for example due to the body shape.

Thanks guys. I really think that throwing swimbaits may become one of the best presentations for covering shallow water. The lifelike way they swim and the minimal drag they have in the water makes them so easy to work all day. I love glide baits but I think that swimbaits just might the next big thing in the musky wood bait market. Not just mine of course, I mean in general.

They are awesome when twitched too and can be counted down to work the depths as well. Bass guys have been cleaning house with this type of bait recently and I see no reason why they wouldn't be deadly on pike and musky. This season will be the test for me personally.
