the thread on the DNR's project to remove pike from LCO and the assistance being provided by the local muskie club and tribal efforts began as a nice bit of kudos for those involved. great "General Discussion" forum material.

as with anything involving northwest WI, it inevitably evolved into a discussion of what's right to do biologically/ecologically/genetically in those lakes.

if you're interested in such things, it's been moved to the "Muskie Research" forum.
