| I have a chance at picking up an older St. Croix Legend 6'9"H at a good price. Don't know much about them at all. I know they came out with the new Legend Tournaments though. My question is- how do the old legends compare with the premier and avid? Were the old legends top of the line? |

| The older legends the ones that were blackish color with the maroon wrap were the top of the line when the were available and then they were replaced by the avid still a very good stick though, but the new legends are even better.. |
