What is the word on this stuff in 100lb. Is seaguard the only way to go?

I used 100lb vanish all last season with no issues. I threw cowgirls and bulldawgs. I fish Mille Lacs, exclusively. Boated big fish. Put the stuff through the "test". I am happy with it. I did switch leaders alot (generally after every one or two fish) out of fear not necessity. I tie my own using a palamar knot on either end.

I've been using 100lb vanish as well with no problems so far.

I used 100lb. Vanish on my trolling leaders last year with good results.
