Stress relief, ay? Maybe repetitive follows are a musky's form of stress relief.

Hey, mine's only 8 and I am happy as hell!!!!! Eleven is overkill.

what is eleven but two ones  and a worrallswoodworking.com plaque that will help you understand how to find the TRUE winning prizes, the other 2 of the 3...good luck! Post if you find this, and first one who does will win a Bucher Lure Tuner and a MuskieFIRST magnet for the fridge. The 2 of the three will be MUCH tougher...

Whops, forgot to attach my screen name!

meesh,

Nope,

Winds begin with differences in air pressures. Pressure that's higher at one place than another sets up a force pushing from the high toward the low pressure. The greater the difference in pressures, the stronger the force. So I would say that the energy from the sun is what causes wind.

Oh YA, The CHILE DOG (a.k.a. HONK DOG) from Portillos causes some really bad bad bad wind too.[:praise:]

HOWEVER: The most potent wind comes from sliders ( White Castle)[:knockout:]

My vote for the best "wind" developers would be the Scummers (the greasiest chili dog on the planet) at Lucky's in West Seneca N.Y. As a past resident of Western N.Y. I can tell you that there is nothing finer than a scummer after bar time at 4:00 AM with half a load on.

Gentleman,

Here is a little trick I learned for dealing with a Scummer,Slider or HONK DOG.

MI, wrong again. The low-pressure area acts like has a vacuum and SUCKS the air. You should know about that.

It’s not only the energy absorbed from the sun, but also the orbit around it and ourselves. Dizzy?

Who is going to link in moon phase?

NXTWRLD,

A couple of nights ago while I was shopping with my wife there was this guy that was so fat that my wife, my son and I went into orbit around him like a bunch of planets orbiting the sun. The gravataional pull was tremendous! Luckily he wasnt producing any wind at that time. PHEW![;)]

remember : it is only half as bad as it could be , if it were twice as bad as it really is.

Just read this thread for the first time. You have all passed, missed, or fallen asleep at the terminal in not calling Musky Illini on his statement about dry ice not being wet. Of course it's not wet....IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH WATER!! Dry ice is as we all know, solid carbon dioxide. This should not be confused with dihydrogen oxide (the aforementioned "water"). Or any other oxides of any other molecules.

Sheesh.

DOC ESOX,

Nxtwrldrcd called me on my stupidity about 30 or 40 threads ago in regards to "DRY ICE". But, thanks for reminding me.[:blackeye:]

Hey Jim,

Do you think Jim Saric is out there reading this? The man holds a Masters degree in Hydrology, and is most likely laughing his back-side off! I, too, find this string REALLY funny! Thanks, guys!

Wind creates pressure, not the other way around.

Plunker,

Winds begin with differences in air pressures. Pressure that's higher at one place than another sets up a force pushing from the high toward the low pressure. The greater the difference in pressures, the stronger the force. The distance between the area of high pressure and the area of low pressure also determines how fast the moving air is accelerated. Meteorologists refer to the force that starts the wind flowing as the "pressure gradient force." High and low pressure are relative. There's no set number that divides high and low pressure. The graphic here ignores the effects of friction and other forces on the wind. A couple of related graphics will help you understand the wind. The first explains what's going on in high and low pressure areas at the Earth's surface. Once the wind begins blowing the Earth's rotation changes its direction. This is known as the Coriolis effect.

I'm just givin ya crap. Wind and pressure are like the chicken and the egg. You can't have one without the other. Most meterologists just decided to have pressure cause wind instead of wind causing pressure.

PLUNKER,

Hmmm. I dont quite agree with the chicken or the egg thingy here. Pressure causes wind, and pressure is created by warming and colling of air, which is created by the sun. Good to see ya giving out crap, my friend. That is what it is all about.

Never mind what I said.. I see your point now. Wind can manipulate heating and coolong.[]
