I have an H2OC that worked flawlessly since May, now all of a sudden it will not hold satellites. My plot trail is a series of dots. I have emailed Lowrance, but the thing will go out of warranty before they respond and/or 25 minutes on hold waiting for the next available support specialist is not acceptable. ANY ADVICE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!

Have you updated the module to the latest and greatest version? My lowrance went wacko one day, found out i needed the update, and it fixed all the problems.

Double check the GPS "puck" is securely connected, and the inline fuse is not blown.

Call Thorne Bros with questions, they can help.

Hopefully if it is an update of some sort Lowrance can help. I just am not sure if I can wait that long.

You either wait until a tech man can help, or type here. I'd wait, it'll get your unit repaired quite a bit faster.

Had a the exact same experience with my buddy's H2O C recently. The satellites would lock and then almost immediately be lost. The thing was beeping like crazy. I would be very interested to hear what you find out. I just bought the same unit.

Thanks,
Elby

I just talked to a technician and he said it could be that they are repositioning WAAS satellites. I tried a couple of his options to no avail. If someone has the same unit and are currently having the same problem, I may not be concerned. Otherwise I think I will be sending it in.

"Technician"? Sounds like a poor answer to me from someone who hasn't got a clue! If it's only happening on you unit and everyone else's is fine then it's the unit. I'd be amazed if they just stopped the whole GPS system from working!

I got my iFinder H2OC in September. The 1st one wouldn't lock in at all. I took it back and got a different one and that has been working great. Not a problem and I have been using it quite often during the last 6 months (including two full weeks in Canada). Love the unit.
