Posts: 358 Location: London, England | A couple of friends have them for use here in the Uk, where launching is often very difficult. While they're certainly not comparable to a boat with decks etc they are no worse than fishing out of a basic ali boat with bench seats. The hull flexes with the water, but it is very stable and easy to stand in. I'm sure they'd sell a lot more if the price were halved though. They are way too expensive for anyone to just have for an odd trip and don't compete with a proper boat in most situations, a jon boat is way cheaper. Any boat is better than fishing from the shore!
