Do any of you guys know where I can buy giant colorado's similar to the cowbell that MM was useing on the original cowgirl? It seems that the manufacturer went our of business that was building them. If I can't find anywhere to buy these I'm going to make them myself, only problem is I can only get my stainless in 48"x96" sheets. That will get me at least 400 blades if not closer to 500 if I take my time programing, anyone interested in these let me know if it's worth the effort through a pm. I think it will cost around $1.50 each according to my best guess. I won't know for sure until I find out how many manhours I have into this. I would much rather just buy them as I only need about 10 or 15 blades.

I've tried stamina already thats who said the manufacturer went out of business.

Are the large blades in his catalog called the magnum ten the same as you are talking or are they a special order item. The original cowgirl had a way bigger blade than a number ten.

Thanks Ranger 620 and Gman, I have #10's, those are easy, I'm looking for the approximately 4"x2" long cowbell blades. #10's are nothing new Musky Safari tackle has been useing them for at least 4 or 5 years on his bucktails, and thats just when I found his baits, no clue how long he started making them before that. I really don't understand the big hype over the company's that sell them now heck I believe that Rollies sells Musky Safari bucktails for $17! What did you pay for the other guys stuff? Oh yea compare the wire on the big name baits to the ones I'm talking about, No Comparison at all!

Try staminainc.com. They list a Mega Blade...4 1/8 X 2 3/8. Only listed in 5 colors.

Just re-read your original post. The blades I was talking about are in the 2006 catalog.

the #10s you get from stamina are about 3 by 1 and 3/4. The #10s you get from rollies are much smaller. I even bought 11s from rollies, got them in the mail and the're smaller than the Stamina 10s

Double Cowgirls use the stamina sized 10s

As baitmaker66 mentioned, Stamina sells a mega blade. It is much larger than the #10's. It might be what you are looking for.

I've ordered the Mega Blades from Stamina before, but I don't see them in the 2007 catalog, or on their web site.

In the Stamina catalog they list #10 colorado blades under Muskie Spinner Blades, but I don't know how big they are.

You also might try emailing Musky Mahyem and ask them? They may even have some left from the old days?

Musky Mayhem quit making the 15" Cowgirl because they could no longer find the blades.

I've ran a mega blade on my spinnerbait before, but even at 14oz+ it still rides pretty high in the water, & pulls like a mule!
Here's a picture

I know they are not Colorado, but the BIGGEST blades I've ever seen are on the Gibbs-Nortac "JUMBO WILLOW LEAF TROLL".
The willows are 5 1/4" X 3", and the Indianas (Bear Valley) are 4" X 3". I don't know if they will sell just the blades.

Even if you are unable to buff them out I may be interested in a dozen or so. I'll just paint them. E-mail me the details at:
