I'm looking for information on current and past musky tracking efforts. I am aware of some on Eagle Lake, Clear Lake, Big Chip, Pewaukee, Webster, and some out east on the Big Rivers. If you know where to get info on these studies or know of other studies not listed, please post them here. I think there is lots of good "research" out there NOT being utilized by musky fisherman. I'd like to find it and use it. Thanks for your help!!

Lets do our own tracking study.

Esox Research/Muskiefirst tracking study.

WHY NOT? I would be willing to give my time and I am sure that others on this board would also.

Jason,

There was a study done on the Mississippi River muskies from the area of the Sartell Dam up to Brainerd that either appeared in In Fisherman or possibly musky hunter magazine (I honestly don't remember...I will look around a bit to old mags..). Interesting article that went through different regions of the river that acted like a river, to reservoir, and such...went into spawning, and locational aspects throughout the year.

I'll see what I can find.

Steve
