How can you tell the difference between a hand made Frenchy bait and an old production bait and a new production bait?

hand made baits came in many colors and styles that were never factory produced. hook placement can be different. wings on creepers and jointed creepers(fetch-n-catches) were soldered while the factory wings were not.

the new factory lures have a different logo and have it printed onto a willow leaf blade and tacked to the body instead of stamped onto the bait.
the middle factory run of creepers used screw eyes instead of thru wire.

just a few of the ways to tell.

Mark,
The surf stir you won during the auction was an old production bait. Steve
