Thanks for the link. Did not have that one yet.
FYI-I see a lot of stuff on that website you can get a lot cheaper from the source. That mylar looks like it is the stuff that comes from Witchcraft. Get a role of 100 pieces for what you would pay for about 30 of them from that website you posted. I bought my 3D eyes a few weeks ago and they cost me a 1/3 as much as I was paying from my other supplier. If you only want 10 though that website is the way to go.... Hope that helps.

Location: Medford, WI | Hey guys, just looking at starting to make my own buck/marabou/etc.-tails and I was just wondering how many tails you can make with a package of 1,700 strands and 10" in length (from one of the sites listed above)???
Also, any links/resources as to helping me start my bucktail-making process would be much appreciated. I will definitely use the search feature on this site, but also looking for any resources with pics of tying and the other processes.
Thanks for the links guys and for any help,
Jake Bucki |

Here is a good site. Click on "Spinners" adn then "Bucktail Spinners". They seem to do a lot of hair and marabou. I like the silicon that has is prebanded. Then you get a little tool that looks like a needle nose pliares to open it up and insert your bullet. You can find that stuff at Stamina lures or from Dick Moore.

Hope this helps,

PS-Don't make them to good as I woudl like a piece of that market someday...

Location: Medford, WI | James, don't worry about me taking over any of the market!!! Ha, just a college student looking for ways I can spend my freetime doing musky-related activities. Maybe if I can get decent at it I'll save a little money on bucktails and spinners, but I'm sure I'll still be buying plenty of a Mepps Musky Boo's and Shumway Flashers.
Thanks for the link...exactly what I'm looking for.
