I am looking for an old thread about poor quality split rings on bull dags which I thought was on this site but can't find it. The thread was about the rings failing and the hooks coming off with very little pressure.

It is true, swap out all bulldawg split rings, especially anyones from 06, the got a bad batch. I learned the hard way about this issue, needly to say I swithed all my split rings.
