Out of these baits which one sounds the best and works good in both calm water and rough water. Super Topraider, Lowrider, Pacemaker, or the Chopper? Just looking for another topwater to compliment my Topraiders.

I would suggest American Hardwood Lures. They have a bunch of great sounding prop baits. I like the Turr-bo and Medium. I can't forget my Trueglide Studfinder.

I love my Chopper. Have caught a bunch of muskies on it and well as a few bass.

I would also vote for the chopper. Got most of my topwater action last year on the chopper. Can't wait to try the rumbler though and see if it lives up to the hype.

I'll go Pacemaker as well, with a Super Top Raider a close second

I enjoy Holcombe's Low Rider.

Sounds like running water.

Sorry this isn't on yer list, but I've grown quite partial to my Snowcrest 'globe-style' topwater. Has a nice zzzzzzt to it and it got me my biggest fish so far. Moves a lot of water.

I've been messing arond with a Poe's Awaker, adding a clicker to the metal tail to get that pacemaker sound. m

Just got a Rumbler, the bait looks great! I use the Awaker, that also is a good lure, but the Rumbler looks to be better built out of the box; I had to rework the Awaker or it would foul near every cast. Top Raider, of course, is a standard. Da Ratt! Any of Ty's topwaters. There isn't a 'best' sound as far as I know, just baits that sound good to me and to the fish!

I think a good COMPLIMENT to your Top Raider would be something much louder that can handle bigger waves. I find my Top Raider excels in calm or slight wind conditions, but that the Chopper or Pacemaker is louder and more buoyant.

I think the Pacemaker can actually be TOO loud in some conditions.

American Hardwood baits by far have become my faovrite baits. All the baits listed I have used an all work great. The Turbo by american hardwood, there mini, and turbo have become my by far favs. The construction, sound, and everything about them is perfect. No tuning is needed just hook it on and throw.

Can't beat em.

AHL lures are very nice and i throw them, but my favorite is Trueglide Studfinder. Was trying to keep that one quiet, but must give credit where it is due...........................
